Choices...
I have watched friends go through abortions. I have and will always be there for them. I don't believe their decision is a good one but understand the fear of an unwanted, unplanned pregnancy. Do I support the choice? No. But if I abandon my friends because of a choice they made then I was never really a true friend. Please, know that there is help for this fear... there are options... they may be difficult options, but they wont come back to haunt you the same way is taking a life away. My friends who went through this have come to regret their decision made in the moment's of fear... and I still support them. I will cry with them, talk with them and pray with them. I will support their needs in a healthy, Godly, loving way.
But I have been thinking...
I have been following a young girl's story who had cancer... Kennedy is beautiful, strong and worth believing in and fighting for. Many of you support my sister Christine (aka Spazzz) and her fight for her life, you followed her story of breast cancer and the life that followed. What makes us support these people? Why honor their cause? So many of us "click for the cause" on the Breast Cancer Site but why? I believe this is because we see their faces, we have heard their challenges, we have gotten to know them as individuals who we think deserve a chance... Why is it we fight for life when someone has cancer but we don't fight for life when someone who hasn't even had the chance to take a breath is going to be killed?
I believe we have it all wrong... we shouldn't be choosing to save the face but instead the spirit. These aborted babies may not have a fully developed face, but I believe they have a fully developed spirit. I believe they deserve the same chance.Do I believe that this petition will change things? I don't know... but if I don't try then I am just part of the problem... I would be the one who claims to believe but doesn't fight. If I'm not willing to fight, then what good are my beliefs?

I had the choice with Miss Nell...there are a few moments I wonder why I didn't take the other road...then she does something to make the thought go away...I will find the petion and sign it...cuz you have it right...we are all spirit children and fully developed and to be taken away is not right...and you are a great freind to stand by with your freinds...as the "haunting" is a hard thing to take...and a Happy Thanksgiving to you too...Smile

I'm really thankful that your Mom didn't choose abortion over giving birth to you....by the way her birthday is just a couple of weeks away. Be sure you show your gratitude to her for making the right choice.:celebrate::grin:

Very thought provoking, I think you know how I stand, we would be minus 2 grands, if different choices had been made. That would have been a huge loss for us. We are taking Little M and her brother to the Lazy 5 ranch today. Jo is having her 40th BD today, she and Loy are going to Charlotte and spending the night. She is very excited, called me at 7:30, singing, Is my Birthday
